They do not take any Medicare Advantage. Since I found out the East Texas Optometric files as medical and forces you to get a referral , even it is not required for a routine vision, and Optometric Associates in Athens, does not take Medicare Advantage from Cigna Health PPO either, you can go to Dallas Eye Associates but if you truly do have a medical problem you will need a referral usually and more money. The older population is prejudiced against. I have had dentist refuse me, dentist refuse to treat me, and physicians tell me they would not take any more Medicare Advantage patients. JUST FYI
