Provided by YP.com*Update* After reading my Yelp review, management reached out almost immediately to address my complaints. The General Sales Manager, Antar Alvarez, quickly called me to rectify the issues that I faced earlier in the day. Although we had to drive an hour back to the dealership, I was able to purchase the Jeep at the listed price without any hassle. Antar was very professional and made sure that I left as satisfied as possible. I increased my rating specifically because of how quickly upper management acted upon my review and for the customer service that Antar Alvarez provided.
Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I walked in with a check in hand to purchase a vehicle that I had already done the math on and they attempted to force us to by a "Gurnee Package" for $5,000 and multiple extra fees. They refused to remove the things that we did not have to buy and did not want to buy and argued with me for an hour and a half. Needless to say, I walked out without a car. I am unbelievably upset with my experience here. I will be contacting Jeep's corporate office to discuss this dealership's bait and switch method (which is illegal). I will take this experience as far as I can with corporate to ensure that this place gets shut down.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your time with Gurnee Dodge. I purchased a Subaru Outback which had a dead battery the day I got it home, forcing me to get it towed to auto zone for a new one.
I called Mitch sales mgr to ask how to resolve the situation he nearly hung up on me saying he was too busy with other customers and that it wasn't their problem bc the car was "fine when it left the lot."
They finally offered to reimburse me and it's been two weeks since I sent the receipt and still nothing.
I never received as much as an apology for this deplorable car-buying experience. I've given them every opportunity to correct this situation before posting this, and I would STRONGLY recommend staying away from there to avoid the worst car buying experience of your life.

Provided by YP.comOutstanding sales experience. My wife and i both purchased our new vehicles from Eric and Tommy and they went above and beyond and were a pleasure to work with. Normally i absolutely can't stand visiting a dealership to buy/lease a new vehicle, but this was my first experience at Gurnee Dodge and it wasn't just satisfactory, it was outstanding. I highly recommend you visit Eric H over there as he'll take his time to make sure you're informed and happy with your purchase. Purchased many vehicles over the years, and Eric was the best salesperson i've worked with by far.

Provided by YP.comThe folks in the service department are quick and fair. I have been doing business with this dealership for over 15 years. Have purchased 6 vehicles from them. Each and every visit to the sevice department has been met with enthusiasm. They always get the the job done efficiently and get me out of the shop with a clean vehicle. Thanks for the assistance and keep up the good work.

Provided by YP.comBUYER BEWARE! When shopping for a quality used car, look elsewhere. I purchased a 4 year old used vehicle from this dealer 10 days ago and have shelled out over $250 of my own money for maintenance items that were not addressed upon purchase. Mind you, they did their own 125 point inspection! When I contacted the dealer to address my concerns, the reply I got from the insincere, Pre-owned sales manager Thomas Popular was, "I'm sorry for your inconvenience, but you did buy a used vehicle. If it had been brand new, I would help address your concerns." So, 10 days with my new-used vehicle, I have already replaced the battery, ordered a second set of keys and am stuck facing winter with a vehicle equipped with remote start that doesn't work. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere, you'll be glad you did.
