The Renaissance Center is a community based counseling ministry which provides both traditional and pastoral counseling designed for individuals, couples, families and groups experiencing difficulty in a number of life areas. We serve all persons regardless of age, race, ethnicity or religious background. Our counseling services are provided in a compassionates and confidential atmosphere designed to promote the healing of the total person. Comprehensive assessments are conducted to help facilitate the development of the participant’s intervention plan and goals leading to a successful outcome. The goal of our counseling services is to assist persons with a positive adjustment to life issues such a as parent/child relationships; marital and family conflicts; separation/divorce; grief and loss; anxiety depression; domestic violence; sexual abuse/ assault/rape; anger management; and addictions. We also provide personal spiritual development and premarital counseling. Our Mission The mission of the Renaissance Center is to minister to the whole person by facilitating healing of the mind, body and spirit with the provision of directed support services. The expected outcome is to strengthen individuals and families so they can live a more productive and healthy lifestyle. The center also aims to enable persons to reach a level of growth and resilience through reconciliation that will ultimately lead to a more balanced life. The purpose of the ministry is to fill a need in the community for confidential and accessible mental health services supported by a spiritual foundation.
