Dr. Fried is the Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Hackensack UniversityMedical Center where he is also Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery and Director of the Level 4 Epilepsy Center. In addition, Dr. Arno Fried was appointed Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at St. Barnabas Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Hospital. He is also Chief of Pediatric and Adult Neurosurgery at St. Peter's University Hospital. Recently, Dr. Fried was appointed Chief of Neurosurgery at Jersey City Medical Center. He started the Pediatric Neuroscience Institute and Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, with a team of nationally known neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other health professionals. His program in Pediatric Neurosciences has grown to become the largest such program in New Jersey and one of the largest in the country.
