Someone from another pet shop had told me about Kazimir's. I looked online to get some directions and also the phone number to see if any crickets avalible. They were abe to give me the information i needed. I literally walked from Teaneck to Hackensack to go get some crickets for my frog. Went there for crickets, They are more affordable than Petland i was surprised about how much it cost me to get 30 crickets. I would totally recommend this place to anyone (i wouldn't recommend them walking. It was the longest walk of my life). The staff in the pet shop are friendly and patient. They also have some things that i want to buy for my frog that i was looking every where for. Im totally going back, especially when i need to get some more crickets. Right now, my frog is a happy camper and im a happy frog care taker.

Forgo the pet store chains and make the journey to Hackensack for outstanding service, knowledge and healthy pets for purchase. I bought a hamster from one of the chains and kept it for 10 days before deciding the nasty little animal had to be returned to the store-- it was mean and ornery and would snap at my kids anytime they tried to touch it. I was sent to Kazimir's by a neighbor. The caring and experienced staff actually advised us to consider a different pet -- a more gentle and not nocturnal gerbil. The woman who helped us had a lot of patience and expertise.

And my kids love the new gerbil. At the chains, no one had any questions or advice to make sure we got the right pet. For dog food, I'd say the chains are fine. If you need any kind of advice expertise or have questions, go to Kazimir's. This is a pet store owned by people who love and know a lot about all kinds of animals.

I have been to this pet shop several times looking for the right pet, and every time they have been very friendly and helpful. The workers there will answer any question you have and tell you everything you need to know about a pet. Their prices are very low for pure breeds because their pets are not from puppy mills; they are from local people whose pets have had litters. I finally bought a pet there and it was a very good decision. It is my first time having a dog and the woman who worked there helped me get everything I needed for the puppy. It is also a grocery store for pets and their item are fairly priced. I highly recommend Kazimir's.
