Founded in 1920, Yorkship Elementary School is a learning center that provides social and academic education to more than 600 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes reading, writing, math, social studies and science. The school has a cafeteria, computer lab, and library and media center, as well as a parent-teacher association. Yorkship Elementary School operates a student government. It provides special and gifted and talented education programs. The school is governed by Camden City Public Schools.
