Terrible they dont know how to talk to people they have no sympathy no mercy and are very disrespectful because they know there is no consequences

Worst Customer Service Ever!!!

First off, this certain woman on their staff is rude, snide and on a total power trip. They accepted our $375 security deposit and then DID NOT connect our lights because they didn't bother to call about why. So we went down to the office and it was because of a 50 debt they sold to collections. This debt wasn't even mine and I was the one putting my name on the light bill it was my boyfriends from 5 years before but they insisted I pay it since he was living at my apartment with me. I told them I had already paid that debt when they told me about it the first time, yet they made us take a bus in the freezing cold with our 5 month old daughter to get receipt from the collection agency. What made this so absurd was the fact that this lady at the light company had a calendar sitting on her desk that clearly read the name, address and phone number of the collection agency we had to go to for the receipt but she refused to call and inquire about it, and when we returned with it all she did was glance at it and hand it back. So there was no point in making us walk two miles and take a bus in freezing weather since it didn't need to be copied or documented she could have just called.



Secondly they are famous for sending cut off notices that arrive the very same day the bill arrives.



And lastly I'm battling them still over my security deposit refund. They told me it'd be 4-6 weeks for it to arrive in the mail from the termination date which was 11-04-09, it is now 8 weeks later 01-06-10 and I called them today and they casually say to me that because it was Christmas two weeks ago that I can expect to wait another 2 weeks at least.



Must be nice to hang on to my $375 dollars for 10 weeks after I end my service, they only gave me a 2 weeks to pay my bill to them in full before they would cut off my electric.
