This lady said that she would go to the nursing home that my mom is in to do her hair and never showed up but got the nerves to lie to my when I call her and said that shewill be there never count on her when it comes to the truth. Whencall her didndidn't pick up the phone no more lies she ran out of.

Poor Time Management



Let me start off by saying that MiMi is very talented and a nice person. My Senegalese twists turned out okay, for the most part. I had an appointment on October 19, 2013 at 8:30AM. I did get there early (about 8:05AM) because I was not familiar with the city of Hagerstown. I did not ask her to come early because I was there or anything. I waited in the car for her. She got the shop at 9:05AM. When I sat down in her chair, she informed myself and my husband that it would take six hours (if she would have started at 8:30AM, like she was supposed to, I would have been out of there at no later than 3PM). Okay, I was thinking to myself good. When she was at the top of my head, she asked me to get out of her chair so she could touch up a guy's dreads. Okay, cool. I thought. Then a few minutes after I got back in her chair, she asked me to get up again so she could braid this little girl's hair. That's when I noticed that she did not block out the allotted time for me like she said. She took three hours to braid the young girl's hair. By then, I started getting annoyed and my husband walked in the shop noticing that my hair was not completed and she was doing someone else's hair. Come to find out, the young girl's mother had set her appointment four weeks prior to that day. I cannot complain about that because the mother did the right thing. I did not voice my concern until after she completed my hair which was at 11:15PM. My husband asked me not to be aggressive, but to keep it "sweet and low" as he calls it because he knows that when it comes to my time and my money, I do not play that game. So, after she finished my hair, I asked if I could speak with her. I explained to her how she made me feel that I was not as important as her other clients because of poor time management on her part, as well as how she came in late, and how I hate spending my money and things are not done right. I did not raise my voice nor did I curse at her. She did not take well to the constructive criticism, instead she got loud and gave a half-assed apology and then kept saying "What you want me to do? Lay down on the ground and apologize" to myself, my husband, and her boss. I told her no, but she did need to be mindful who she talks to and how she talks to them because a situation like that could have gone wrong. I paid her the $130 and kept it moving because I know that she is a single mother and she has bills to pay, but if it was not for my husband, she would not have gotten paid at all from me because she wasted my entire day due to the time management skills she lacks. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO HER TO GET MY HAIR TOUCHED UP NOR WILL I GO BACK TO HER PERIOD! My experience was not what her reviews said. If it was not for my husband, her boss and the other clients in there talking to me and apologizing for her mistakes, I would have walked out with half a head completed. I do wish her the best in all that she does and hope and pray that she gets it together soon because she lost a client here. I will take the hour drive to Harrisburg, PA for now on.

I recently moved from Virginia to Hagerstown I had no one to braid my hair. Searched on the internet and found Meemee. I got my hair braided on Monday. Meme was professional. Haven't had my hair done in a while that I was this pleased. Thanks again Rina I would have gave her 10 stars but 5 will do. Thanks again Rina
