Regionally I had my 2005 dodge grand caravan at AAmco transmission To have a transmission checked I asked them to check the rear brakes and front brakes for me while it was there Upon inspection AAmco said that The van needed Wear shoes Brake drums can wheel cylinders and a hardware kit Also they said that my oil sending unit needed to be replaced I am a quoted me $726To do the rear brakes and the oil sending unit Which I thought was outrageous I called johnnies automotive Ask them what it would cost to have the brakes done and the oil sending unit Before to me for the brakes for 411.00 total for complete job was 521.00 Including tax Which also Included in that price they replace wheel stud that was broken And replace lugnuts that were missing Which is the saving of $205 for the same job Also upon Receiving They left a rose on the dash of car When I got home I noticed on my cell phone that they send me pictures of everything that was wrong and everything that they did thank you guys you did an awesome job and I would recommend you to anyone

They are professional, honest, fast and very reasonable. I was having an electrical problem with my car and they spent a couple hours looking for the problem even after warning me they might not be able to find it. They charged me nothing for the time they put in to it. Absolutely love these guys!!

I've been going here for years now and refuse to go anywhere else. I don't care where I live in Florida, it will always be worth the drive! They always know exactly what my car's many special problems are and how to fix it and they'll even tell you if you can get something done at the dealership under warranty (although I hate dealing with dealerships otherwise). I highly highly highly recommend them to everyone! You're missing out if you're not coming here. đź’ś

I have come to Johnny's for many years. Recently I needed new shocks and sway bars all the way around. I did some price checking and they beat the best price by about 20%. They just moved to a new place which looks awesome. I am still recommending all my family and friends come here. Get some quotes elsewhere but be sure to call Johnny's last. Friendly, clean and professional, complete with a giant gorilla out front!

I went to Johnny's Automotive in Haines City FL about 2 weeks ago as my check engine light was on. Albert came outside and read the codes. He said it showed the O2 sensor and the coils (I have 6). I told him that the 3 front coils had been changed in February by my brother-in-law. The O2 sensor was changed at the same time. If these were faulty I wanted to know as they were under warranty. Albert said that for $350 they would change the coils, I am presuming the back 3, oil change and air filter. He also said that for another $150 they would change the O2 sensor (that is the cost of the sensor). I tried to tell him that all of that had been done in February but he got an attitude and said if I didn't like it have my brother-in-law fix it. I was very disappointed with the service I received. I had read the good reviews and was hoping to find a reliable mechanic but I was wrong. I took my Escape to Tuffys in Haines City the following week. They diagnosed the O2 sensor and said there were no other codes that came up. The mechanic traced the wiring back to my alternator and found the wiring harness was worn and stripped in places. He took me out and showed me exactly where it was and what had to be done. A few hours and $289 later I was out the door. My Escape is running excellently now. The mechanic, Dana, provided me with superior customer service and repair. I will be going there for all of my automotive repairs and maintenance.

I have a 93 Lincoln Town Car t...

I have a 93 Lincoln Town Car that needs a new engine head. When I got the car, I thought it only needed an oil pump, but then realized the whole engine needed rebuilt. I already put the pump in and got different cams for it , put in new Lifters, and got different Journals. But when I was putting in the cams, I noticed that the Head where the cams sits on wasnt miced out. alot of grinding and aluminum wasnt melted on it. So Im wondering how much it would cost me to get a new head put in and get my car running... Thank You.

Ridiculous!

This place has done my alignment I don't know how many times and can not get it right!! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they enjoy hanging out at this place because they do not do the job correct and you will have to go back several times. I have talked to neighbors of mine who have used this place and had similar problems or having to go back. The office staff is rude the mechanics are even ruder and have a major attitude. I will never go back to place.

When we told that alignment would not solve the problem, that it needed parts, the customer told us to continue with the alighment anyway. The customer installed parts on their own at their home, then returned asking us to do the alignment. The customer did not take our professional advice.
