We filed a complaint to NJ Consumer Affairs at Burlington County. The inspector knew all the details and he suggested us to report this case to Police for possible scam. He also recommended us to file a suit against this contractor. The inspector is investigating other similar cases related to this contractor. Oddly enough, this contractor claimed online that this case has been cleared by Consumer affairs. Obviously he was hiding the truth. He very likely told his lawyer false story, and his lawyer sent me a letter asking me to remove the comment. What I said was completely true. At the same time let people know the truth. Be aware that there are bad contractors, do not pay money upfront. The only way to remove the comments is after the contractor finishes the work!!! Otherwise, we have rights to seek legal actions and see you in the court.
