i went to Loafers on CATON Ave with my girl friend for Sunday dinner. I ordered two stuffed Shrimp with double order of broccoli that I had asked to have seasoned with butter and garlic. . She ordered Chicken Chesapeake and two sides. First off when our food arrived my broccoli was iced cold to the touch. So I asked to have it heated, which seemed to be a problem. The waitress displayed a little attitude. So while she's heating the broccoli I go to taste the stuffed Shrimp to find out that it wasn't Shrimp at all. It was talopia. The one fish I told the waitress I definatly didn't like. My broccoli comes out hot but with no flavor what so ever. Meanwhile my stuffed Shrimp comes out just as my date finishes her meal. I ask for a to go box, after all I wasn't going to make her watch me eat as I had just watched her all of her food. Our only conversation at the table was about how disappointed we were that we couldn't dine together. The waitress did offer me a slice of cake as if that was going to make up for this horrible dining experience. I asked for the manager and declined to pay the 15% grituity that had already been included in my check. But that's not all. When I got home I was going to pull the little tail off that was left on the shrimp. Only to find that it was a little small shrimp uncooked, not butterflied. I guess the took the shortcut to try and get my food back out quickly. I tried several times that night to get the manager but was told he was unable to come to the phone. I asked for his email address so that I could send him pictures of my food. No one would give it to me. The next day I spoke to a different manager who took my name and number but never called me back. I will never go there again! This is the little uncooked Shrimp that was under the crab cake.
