Gil's Garage in Halfmoon is THE most technologically-brilliant, efficient and knowledgeable team in upstate New York. My 2008 Kia Rio has had myriad problems, but Paul and his crack team--including John and Keith--have always fixed the problems in record time, without gouging me. Paul is the most honest and experienced auto man between Albany and Montreal. Anyone who has the opp to take their car to Gil's but goes elsewhere--is an idiot.

The excellent customer service and experienced technicians at Gil's Garage of Halfmoon make having my vehicle serviced and repaired here (I've had both done) a pleasant experience.



Although no one enjoys facing a vehicle repair bill, I've always been given options in a professional manner with an explanation of what needs to be done immediately, and what could possibly wait until a later date.



After reading the review posted previously, I have found my numerous experiences here to be as opposite from this as can be.



I do believe that if you want quality repairs / service with original manufacturer parts - this is the auto service center you should trust with your vehicle..

I can't speak to the quality of the work since I pulled my vehicle out of the garage due to high pressure and high prices.



You may get quality work here but my experience was overpriced with limited options to the scope of the repair and high pressure/fear tactics.



If you don't mind overpaying for the work - Gil's Halfmoon may be for you.
