I have said to many on several different occasions that if Ruth Mewis at Winnetuxet Children's Place taught K-12, I would send my daughter there.



My daughter is now in 2nd grade and I continue to draw on and use Ruth's philosophy to remind her how to behave and solve problems. Winnetuxet showed my daughter how to resolve conflict peacefully while taking others feelings into consideration.



The teachers at Winnetuxet have patience and understanding that I do not see in public schools. The time they allocate to each child's needs is amazing considering the full day of activiites and lessons that they plan for the children. I was impressed with the level of learning my daughter "graduated" with.



I would highly recommend Winnetuxet to anyone in the area. It was well worth the drive to another town to have her attend this stellar school.
