Provided by YP.comI have been a member for 3 years at Premier. I really enjoy the convenience of having a gym so close to home. The staff always seem very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Owners have been doing allot of upgrades and improvements over the last year. This weekend they were moving out all of the older machines, some of the cardio equipment and even the floor from upstairs and downstairs. I spoke with the Owner (Anthony) and he is completely upgrading and renovating all of the equipment downstairs and upstairs with new state of the art free weight and strength machines.....I can't wait....... Provided by YP.comI used to be at Lafitness in West palm, but moved down here and was looking online for gyms in the area and this place came up, looking at the reviews almost made me not come here but I'm so glad I gave this place a shot. Ruth from front desk was so welcoming, she showed me around and definitely and I mean DEFINITELY made sure I knew about their membership types and she made a huge emphasis on their cancellation policy. I'm currently a member now, the people are very friendly! Very happy with there service and how they treated me

Provided by YP.comThis is in response to the review by Kevin P. on 12/03/15, now deleted from this page.
Kevin: First of all, you are a trainer and paid employee of Premier, therefore your review shouldn't even be considered valid, much less helpful. Customers reviews is what matters, not soliciting posts, just in case you didn't learn this during your 25 years in the fitness industry.
Now let's cut down to the chase: Obviously you've never been a paying member of Premier, so your statements are far off from reality. Premier is not even remotely close to what you call "state of the art". At plain view, the facilities are average, with worn out weight machines and benches dating from the early 2000s, many in bad shape, and useless. Glorified zone classes, new cardio equipment and spinning bikes, don't justify the current exorbitant membership fee of $ 100 a month this gym charges.
Sorry, but no, thanks.
You talk about the owner not putting up with members. Wooww, wait a minute man. A good business owner actually MUST put up with customers, if of course, he want their business. So, if according to you, "he looks after his members" then why do you say he doesn't like to put up with them ?
Then you go on about "the owner's integrity and sincerity"...Dude, are u high on something? It seems you have NEVER seen the owner screaming and kicking his own members and staff out of the gym. Yes, you are reading correctly, he HAS done that MANY times.
Where are the loyal customers like myself who helped Premier grow during its early stages? Gone. We brought him new members, just from word of mouth, and this place WAS once a great gym. The owner has benefited a lot from many good loyal members. But we got deceived by your boss when after so many years he decided to triple the membership fees, and when I reminded him what many of us have done for his business, he did absolutely NOTHING. Not one single attempt to remedy the situation and keep his good customers .Very lame. Customers feedback and suggestions for improvement have always been ignored.
So don't talk about "looking after his customers" and "integrity", because the LAST thing this guy has is integrity !!
You are also a trainer at Olympia, where many people taking your classes are former Premier members. Ask them why they left. And then go take a look at LA Fitness, Equinox and find out from the front desk staff, how many people from Premier they signed in the last year. Go ahead, I dare you.
"The best money can buy". So why is the gym and classes so empty? Premier lost more than half of its members since 2014, and this is a FACT.
Have you ever spoken to any former trainer/instructor or employee of Premier? Well, those good trainers like you, also wrote some very nice reviews about Premier on every social page you can imagine. But that was before they got fired, or quit, sick and tired of how bad they were treated. I have spoken to many former employees, and every one of them also felt deceived by the same owner you cherish and lick so much. Eventually, you will also become a former employee, either fired by your boss, or you will quit. Just like them. Take it for granted. So when that happens, go and write another review. For sure it will be quite different.
Sorry man, but you've made a fool of yourself.

Provided by YP.comBoring, unmotivating place to work out.
Old and oudated equipment, and sub standard instructors. But the straw that breaks the camel's back is the $100 a month fee they charge.
You have to be a fool to join a run down hole like one. Definitely I will not recommend it.

Provided by YP.comThe other Yelp page has a few 5 star reviews written by disguised employees or perhaps the owner. The reality is quite the opposite.
Run away as fast as you can.

Provided by YP.comI find it very difficult to comprehend how a business can charge so much money in xchange for absolutely nothing worth its high price.
Quick facelift in 2014, but workout space and group classes have been reduced. New cardio equipment is overshadowed by old weight machines. Recycling members and employees. Poorly managed. I do not recommend it.

Provided by YP.comNothing this gym offers is appealing. To make matters worse, every class costs additional money, No wonder is empty.

Provided by YP.comIn 2014 they did a fake facelift to the facilities, and decided to charge members more than double. Same old run down weight equipment and cardio machines. Group classes and schedule have been downgraded, A large numbers of loyal members left, and the place is near half the attendance it had over a year ago. Staff keeps changing. No wonder, Premier gym lacks creativeness and energy to bring in customers. That is the result of poor management. Don't believe the positive reviews posted on similar pages. They are fake, and writen by the management and staff. This gym s-cks !!

Provided by YP.comNot recommendable. Instructors are constantly getting fired or quit. Classes not steady. The place is half the capacity of other area gyms during peak hours. This tells you something. The main and only problem is its owner, who is simply a jerk and has a habit of kicking out both members and staff. Enough said.
