I have taken my vehicles to Mike's Off Road for the past 20+ years and with each visit I am treated with respect and honesty. Since they give individual attention and are extremely busy I sometimes have to wait my turn but it is always worth it. They just finished the custom work on my JKU and could not be happier.

Worst experience with 4×4 shop

Let me start off by saying I would give zero stars if I could. Stay away from this place. Got my truck lifted July 2012, it was newer dodge 2011. A little over a year later November 2013 I had to take it back in for a vibration in the front end. They were able to fix it for $1600. I thought that was a bit high but it did fix the problem. Then one year later the vibration comes back and I take it back. I am told that the parts that were replaced have worn out. Good news I am told the parts are under but the labor is NOT. Oh and the labor is more expensive then the parts. I am told my truck will be ready Friday afternoon so I call before I just show up, only to be put on hold for 25 minutes before finally hanging up and just going. When I get there I am told truck is still not ready and it will be another hour (the only real truth). I am in the process of paying another $900 and the service technician tells me the truck still has a vibration and would need a new set of tires. Would have like to been given the option to purchase a set of tires before spending money on labor for what I think should have been warranty work. Will never go back and will tell everyone all they are interested in is getting money out of your pocket.

I have used Mike's Off road in the past and the work seemed OK.. I used them for a leveling kit on my 2014 Toyota Tundra in May of 2014 the quality of work was very poor. When the mechanic brought my truck around to the front of the store I looked into the wheel well and there in plain sight were two nuts on the upper A-arm that were not even tightened down. This is on the front suspension.. not an area where you want things to come loose traveling down the freeway at 70mph. When I mentioned it to the guy I was dealing with he blew it off like no big deal.. "I'll just get him to tighten them up".. Well now I have a big question mark about all the other work that was done.. They took the truck back to the shop area and came back in about five minutes and said everything was good.. I asked "did you check everything..?" and was told "Oh yeah.. everything's good".. After about a week I noticed that my steering wheel was not centered and my truck seemed to be pulling to the right. I called Mike's Off Road and told them what was going on (after being on hold for about 15 minutes.. As soon as I described the issue the guys tells me that it's probably not caused by anything they did and I would have to pay for another alignment. Remember we are talking about a truck with less than 1000 miles on it.. After the first issue of the loose parts and now this I decided to take the truck back to the dealership and have it checked out. I spoke with the mechanic about the work I had done at Mike's and he said he would give it a complete inspection and alignment.. He came back with the print out from the alignment that showed that the alignment was way off and said he found two bolts that were not tightened properly.. after I left the dealership the truck drove great.. I spent over $1800 at Mikes off road that day and then another $90 at the dealership for another alignment to have the mistakes that the mechanic at Mike's made fixed.. I had been a long time customer of Mike's but no longer.. There are plenty of other placed that do that type of work.. I have the photos and documentation to back up everything I have stated in this review...

I woke up early Saturday morning so I would be the first customer at the store. I wanted to have bumpers and rock rails put on my Jeep along with a winch. I brought pictures, prices and questions. I was ready to order and have the work done. I was told I would get a call for the total quote. (Never got a call) Five days later, I called again and asked to speak to Wayne since he was the person who had my paperwork. (He was busy and I got no callback) I called again three days later, "Wayne was on the phone again. I held for ELEVEN minutes and still nothing. This is how I was treated for my first visit to the store and now I will tell everyone exactly how I was treated. They just ignore you.

Tremendous selection, great prices, and outstanding service.

I have visited many off road places for my truck. None seemed to have the selection or expertise to help me find what I was looking for... Mile's not only had everything I needed, but they helped suggest some additional products that helped me complete my truck exactly the way I had always pictured it. I will definitely be recommending Mike's to my buddy's for their trucks.
