I hired Texroots for bi-weekly mowing service (once every two weeks) back in 2013. They only actually showed up to mow the lawn 6 times between June to October, which I called multiple times to complain about before finally calling to cancel service but could never reach the company during their business hours and never received any response from anyone when I left messages each time I called.

The first contact I received from Texroots since I started trying to reach them was a bill e-mailed to me 5 months after I told them to cancel service, which claims that they showed up EVERY two weeks and are charging me the full amount of that time period for the days they showed up and skipped. This was in April of 2014. I immediately called and e-mailed Texroots back to discuss the charges and pay the small difference that I actually owed them, since I moved over 3 hours away before receiving their bill, but still haven’t had any response by e-mail or phone.

I’ve called many times throughout last year, especially since we received more e-mails from them threatening legal action, but the company uses a messaging service instead of giving out a number to reach them directly and Texroots has not responded to any of my calls. They are now threatening to sue me for the amount they claim I owe, which includes payments I have already made along with all the times they never showed up, as well as attorney fees and court costs.

I’m not certain if this company just has very poor management, along with HORRIBLE customer service, that has no clue if their work crews are actually mowing the lawns they are hired to do OR if the current general manager, Chris Tucker, is knowingly trying to defraud clients. Either way, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Service was okay, but management is terrible. I cancelled service 3 times and they continued to mow and they continued to bill me. Now they are threatening me with civil action because I refuse to pay for their mistake. I highly recommend you stay away. Call their number and you go to a call center that has nothing to do with the company. The call center cannot help you in anyway and you never get a call back. Worst customer service I've experienced!

AVOID this company. I just received a call today from this company's new manager, Chris Tucker, who informed me that I owe him $500. He said that he personally mowed my lawn for all of 2013 and even though he never sent me a bill, I have to pay all of it right now or he will put a lien on my property. I did not know he was mowing my lawn because there isn't any grass (just dandelion weeds) and I had only just called Tex-Roots once for an estimate. I never signed a contract. He said he's going to SUE me over this. I don't think this company has much integrity. How can you not send your client a bill each month for services you allegedly rendered and then attempt to invoice that client a year later with the threat of a law suit. I'm just kind of stunned still.

this company is HORRIBLE we suspended our law service on October 12th of 2013 it is now March 7th 2014 no only have they not stopped charging me every two weeks for no services but wont return any phone calls about the charges i have been forced to dispute threw my bank and they are only able to go back 60 Days in 60 days they have charged my account $450 AVOID THIS COMPANY !!!

We normally do our own yard. But I work nights and needed to have it done with having sick kids and unable to do it this go around. Guy said "Is this just a one time cut?" Me: "Yes sir", (explained why)..Guy: " We do not do just one time lawn services". I guess he has his quota now and doesn't need new or returning customers. Therefore we will not recommend to friends and family who DO need regular lawn service.

I've used TexRoots for a year now, and my experience has been 100% excellent with this company and their lawnservice teams. they have been timely, fast, efficient, responsive to our needs, and above all leave our yard neatly mowed, edged, and sweeped/blowed. They're easily the best lawnservice company I've used over the past 10 years, and across at least 6 other companies. I'll stick around for sure! thanks again guys, Matt

I highly recommend TexRoots for your lawn care company. My experiences with TexRoots have been nothing less than exceptional. They are dependable, friendly, professional, and always respond quickly to emails or phone calls. I have been a customer for 2 years and they have never missed my yard , unless weather prohibited, but they were there the next day to complete. It's hard to find good customer service these days, but TexRoots has definitely proven to be an exception!

Texroots is a very good service to use. They are very prompt and get the job done quickly and very good. I would reccomend Texroots to my family and friends.

We never planned to have regular lawn service, but after a last-minute, one-time visit by Perry and his crew, we were sold. They take pride in the results, they make it absolutely convenient for the customer -- you can't find a better value. If your schedule is already packed, I promise TexRoots is the best investment you could make.

Their info should read "some" or "most" of Tarrant County. The definitely don't service ALL of Tarrant County. My mother lives just west of Ft. Worth and was told they don't service her area. She's 70 years old and has had difficulty in obtaining a reliable yard service company. My husband and I would take care of her yard for her except that, unfortunately, we live half way across the country! When trying to help her out from this distance, it's very frustrating when you waste your time researching a commpoany based on the information they provide just to find out that information is false!

The price is right and I have had zero issues after over a year of service. The job is always timely and well done.

I am extremely impressed with Texroots. I called them on Friday morning at 9:00 with an emergency, my grandmothers Birthday party (with a guest list of about 70 people) was relocated on Thursday to my house for Saturday and my grass needed cutting BAD and I had to work all day. Well after being rejected by six other lawn care services because Friday is apparently the most busy lawn care day Texroots was able to squeeze me in last minute. Plus I am a brand new customer...and they still did all this for me.

I have been very pleased with TexRoots. Often I am torn between selecting a low cost provider and wanting quality service. I receive both with TexRoots. I have recommended them to my neighbors, and am confident you will also be pleased with a decision to use TexRoots.

I have used Texroots for 2 years now and have never been disappointed. They have never missed an appointment, and any phone or email correspondence I have had with them was promptly returned. I would highly recommend them for your lawn needs.
