This is an interesting place to shop!Today I only needed and had time for a graduation card, but I'm going back soon for the present to go with it(saw a couple of pairs of bookends to think about). My neighbor got a great Empire style bookcase with glass doors there, but I can only be interested in the old books! I've never shopped in a store with so many areas of interest-it's like they read my mind.I mean-how many places can one go to look at new handmade jewelry, antique linens, and Eskimo soapstone carvings?! I love that there's a place to run in and out or else poke around for an hour. And they let you try on everything! I heard that you can even have jewelry repairs and modifications done, and it could be on jewelry not from them(like the old beads my Mom gave me-they said I could have them restrung to be longer).Well you get the idea-when their commercials say fun place to shop they were right!

what a fun place to shop!

just like the tv commercial says-what a fun place to shop! so much handcrafted jewelry-mostly in siver-my favorite! and I never saw so much native american jewelry to choose from either! I bought a vintage belt and necklace on my last visit,am thinking of putting a framed etching from about 1900 on layaway-it's fee free! love the selection of old linens and love the idea of being green using already manufactered goods. my room-mate bought an old cookbook and a new handcrafted silver bracelet by a designer in maine-we are such an eclectic bunch! anyway-you should check it out-the ladies there are relaxed about everything,so you can try anything on and handle just about anything too. they even have gift certificates and do corporate gifts for companies-some one picked up a "gift basket" while I was there-think it was a real estate agent. look like a vintage cookbook, some old cookie cutters and a handmade kitchen witch for good luck-cute! will go again and again!
