Located 5 miles south of Hamilton on the banks of the Bitterroot River, the Bitterroot River Lodge is geared towards families and groups that generally come for 3 - 10 day stays. We are a fly fishing lodge on 440 acres of river bottom with a newly renovated (2016 - 2017) main lodge that has 6 king rooms all with new baths; a new riverside suite with fireplace; and a log cabin on a fishable pond that sleeps 4. Kids and groups love the Party Barn that features it's own swimming hole with a fire pit and BBQ deck for guests. Riverside and forested trails wind through the property and the half-mile driveway insures privacy. The lodge helps guests with their fishing plans by arranging trips with the areas best guides and outfitters. Fishing guides can launch their boats and/or drop off guests right at our front door and guests can fish from the banks of the river or on one of several stocked ponds, which are a real hit with younger and/or less experienced guest. Breakfast is served daily, buffet style, from our brand new kitchen in the main lodge and group dinners can be arranged with advance notice. The Bitterroot River Lodge has been owned by the same two families for the past 20 years.Located 5 miles south of Hamilton on the banks of the Bitterroot River, the Bitterroot River Lodge is geared towards families and groups that generally come for 3 - 10 day stays.
