i was going to leave chase because they fee'd me to death.i got talked into a brokerage account.i put all my funds from checking into it. after doing this i decided to make some of my own stock picks,doing my own research.they wouldnt go through online.i called the broker,he said let me put it through for you.he did this so he could get the fees and commision off my research.after this and many other fees over petty items.like transferring money from one account to another and being fee;d to deathi decided to sell the stock.this was NOT a margin account,all money was my own from my checking.i went to sell at a profit and asked the broker if id have additional fees,he told me i wouldnt so i sold the stock.3 days later i got my money in my account..at a loss.so they basically held my money for 2 months and even though i sold at a profit i lost,chase claimed i did a short sale,to my knowledge a short sale only happens in margin accounts.id stay away from this bank.
