I have been petrified of the dentist my whole life. Each and every office I have gone to have been as equally scary as the next. I would have knots in my stomach and felt uneasy on the days that I had appointments. My tooth was hurting really bad and a co-worker suggested going to Dr. Taylor. I was so nervous and my stomach was so uneasy. After our visit we discovered I would need a root canal (YIKES). I have never had one, but I have heard some horror stories. So the day I went...a wreck I might add, I was ready to get it over with. The whole office staff sets the atmosphere. They are friendly and compassionate and smile a lot. They also seem to have a lot of patience. Not once have I ever felt rushed or like my mouth was not as important as the next one. The root canal was literally a piece of cake. It was the first time I didn't feel work being done. I think it was a 3 hour procedure. I held my mouth open, took no breaks, and felt nothing. At one point I almost went to sleep. A root canal. Yes..true story. Dr. Taylor smiled the entire time. Talks to you about everything through the whole process. She was amazing. She also gave me helpful tips to take better care of my mouth. Brushing your teeth every day and mouth wash will not just do the trick. My plan was to not type a novel . I just wanted you to get the full idea of what it was like from beginning to end. Very kind, non-judgmental, and compassionate. I will recommend anybody I know to her. I wish more people in her profession had her personality and passion. She really enjoys doing what she does.
