Provided by YP.comI recently took my Malibu with an aluminum V6 DOHC into Ross Downing Chevrolet for service. I told Assistant Service Manager Mike that it had overheated, and that it has a blown head gasket. I was convinced of it. Mike is a mechanic, who specializes in the internal workings of the combustion engine. He knows his stuff. He listed a bunch of tests he would like to do on the car, but I knew it was a blown head gasket. I asked how much it would cost to repair the head gasket. It could run into the thousands of dollars. I cannot tell you my relief when Mike called me the next day and told me it was only a loose wire, and I was only charged for the corresponding diagnostic tests which were performed. Everyone I have dealt with at Ross Downing is very nice, and I can now confirm their service department is honest. You can trust them for an honest evaluation of your car’s problems. I do. My faith in Chevrolet is renewed.

Provided by YPmobileAfter having some problems with a truck I purchased from Ross Downing, they were extremely understanding and very helpful in resolving the problems. Definitely a great place to do business. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend doing business at Ross Downing. You will NOT regret it.

Provided by YP.comI agree that i would not recommend anyone to the dealership. I do not know exactly what is going on there, but every time i been there in search of a vehicle it always ended up as being an unrewarding experience. The last time visited Ross Downing was towards the end of last year. I came there in search of a vehicle, in fact i was ready to purchase one that day. I went through all the paper work for a car i really did not want because i was told it was impossible for me to get a car that was much lower than that one. After the paper work we went outside to test drive it just to find out that the salesman did not know where the car was himself. The car was no where to be found and he ended up walking over to the service department and came back and told me that someone took the bumper off that car, and that he prefer not to show it to me without everything in tact. Well I did not understand the reason behind that, because to me i feel like i would much rather see the car and see exactly whats going on with it, but i never even laid an eye on it. The salesman "Brian" promised that he would contact me when the bumper is put back on the car. I waited a week and he did not call, so i called him and he told me that the bumper still is not on the car and that they should put it on there that day or the next day, he said he did not forget about me. So i waited and waited and waited and he never until this day called me back at all. So i can not help but to wonder what did he do with my paperwork, and was the car he said i can get was actually for sale or was it sold already?

Provided by YP.comthis place is horrible! some guy that use to be a coach for a football team! really tried to rip me and my mother off bad! We brought the car back and let them have it! too much manipulation from him.
