WalMart Pharmacy is not handicap friendly and do not care about the elderly!!!!!!

WalMart Pharmacy really stunned me as far as the way they treated their customers. My mother is a 74 yr. old disabled woman. I dropped off her prescriptions to be filled and informed the staff I was going to wait for them to be filled. I was told itwould be 30 - 45 minutes. After looking around the store to kill time, I went to the pharmacy to pick up her medications and was told it would be a few more minutes. After 30 more minutes of sitting in front of the pharmacy, I approached the pharmacy desk once again to see if her medications were ready; once again I was told it would be a few more minutes. I returned to the ONE bench available and commenced to wait once again. After waiting for another 30 minutes (expecting someone to call out when her medications were ready, as they saw me sitting and waiting) I finally got irritated and went back to the desk and the clerk told me they had been ready!!! On another occassion, I went with my mother to pick up her medications and once again I was appauled at the way handicap customers were treated! Thank goodness I was with her as I had to stand and wait in line for 45 minutes to get her medications. I watched many edlerly and disabled customers wait in line just to be told "not yet:". They returned to the back of the line to wait again. I got into a yelling match with a pharmacist as my mother asked what she was paying for and began pulling all her medications out of her bag; we discovered she had 2 identical blood pressure medications and 2 different pain medications which she hadn't requested. On another occassion, my mother was prescribed Aricept. She went to pick it up and was told it was $346.00 for 90 pills. She explained to them she could not afford them. I called the next night and spoke with a clerk. I asked if she could purchase 30 pills at a time and was told it would cost $43.00 for a month's supply. I explained to the clerk that it couldn't be right. She once again confirmed the price. The next day when my mother went to pick it up, the pharmacy once again tried to charge her the $346.00. It was at that point my brother and I decided to have all her medications filled at another pharmacy. I have called my mother on several occassions and she would be in tears by the way she was treated by the pharmacy staff.
