Big disappointment, the only thing vintage about their doors is the name. If you are working on an old house and need to match actual vintage doors DO NOT order from these guys. Find someone locally or try to re-condition an antique door.

I ordered a custom door from Yesteryear's Vintage Doors, sent them a detailed CAD drawing (copied a vintage door I was trying to match) which they misread and the dimensions were off. They admitted the mistake and offered to compensate me but I never received any compensation. I also noticed that the construction methods and the way the door was assembled is not the same as an actual vintage door. The joinery is different. It's a modern door with a vintage "style." The door was also poorly sanded and not flat. It took quite a bit of block sanding (8 hours +) starting with coarse sandpaper to get it ready for finishing.

If you have a new house or building and you are not a very detail oriented person then this company might be ok. I am a pro carpenter and I am also very familiar with vintage woodworking and this is not it. For $1,800.00 I expected more.

i recently ordered a custom Dutch alder wood door for my home. While ordering a custom door took longer and needed to be shipped, the result is more than worth it. My new front door is the finishing touch on my unique, hand-built home and is of such high quality it will last the lifetime of my home. I would definitely recommend Vintage if you are looking for a door of exceptional quality that can be customized to your particular style. I am a very satisfied customer!

I recently bought an old 1890s 3,000 sq. ft. colonial home and absolutely love it. The one thing missing was an interior door to one of the bedrooms. After spending multiple trips and hours going through probably between 500-600 doors from a local Ace Hardware and Lowes, I was about to give up. That is when I discovered Vintage Doors. I contacted them online and explained my situation. The whole process was seamless. Through a combination of taking photos and double checking measurements, they were able match perfectly the other interior doors to my home. The door was shipped to me and far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Vintage Doors to a family member or friend. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff were able to make my new home even better and for that I say Thank You!

I got my doors!! The delivery was so smooth. They called me and told me they were coming, the driver then called me on the way. We both pulled up at the same time. The delivery guy was very nice and helped us take the doors to the back porch. They arrived in very good condition. We did open them both just to make sure the doors were okay and they were perfect! We were very impressed with the packaging! The doors are beautiful and smell so good! I am so impressed with the quality and pleased with the doors! My friend that recommended Vintage Doors to me was absolutely right! I wanted to thank Vintage Doors for all their help and kindness while working with me. They were so pleasant to work with. If I ever need doors again I will definitely be contacting Vintage Doors!! I will also be more that happy to recommend them to any one that I know!

We purchased 56 doors for a gut renovation of our home, including oversized and undersized doors, interior and exterior doors, Dutch doors, sliding doors, and doors of greater than average thickness, mostly made of mahogany, but a few of oak and a few of Spanish cedar. We specified custom hinges with decorative finials, and ordered most of the doors pre-hung. Every door was exactly to specification, and was beautifully made. The doors arrived on schedule, and our contractor had mo trouble installing them. It's now been 7 years, and the doors still look magnificent. They are usually the first thing visitors comment on when walking into our house.
