We got a flat tire on vacation in North Topsail Beach. We Googled and found this facility and am so glad we did! We drove up without an appointment and the owner repaired our tire and mounted it back on our truck immediately and charged us so little that we felt bad about it after we left. Everyone was super friendly and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of auto repairs!

Service is always fast and friendly. A great family owned business! I recommend them to all my friends and family.

My family and I were down on vacation last week when our car broke down. I read the reviews but decided to call any way. They we very responsive and courteous. They went above and beyond my expectations to get my family on the road again.

I had my brakes and a few other problems fixed. Very fast service and very reasonable prices. Thank you so much.

This shop is a joke, Save the headache because you will have one when they are done with you...I got charged for work not done,had to deal with the temper tantrum owner. What ever you do "DON'T DO IT"!!!

Was down visiting the beach from Virginia with my wife and her family and had our boot from the CV axle come loose and tear.

Bought CV axle myself and took it to the shop and a younger blond man changed it on the spot.

Reading the other posts I cant really see anything like this happening. I used to be a small engine mechanic in college and realize how big of a pansy some people can be.

I will be coming back to topsail and back to surf city tire if the need arrises!

Arrogant owner who belittled my wife. I would push my vehicle past your facility before I would even so much as allowed you to put air in my tires.

If this is the best garage in the area, why was I treated nastily and with disrespect when I call for information on my car. If I am told that my car will be looked at when it gets towed there, and I have no answers 24 hours later, Should I not have the right to call and inquire as to the status of the car? The owner kept putting me off, and after 3 calls to check the status (he says 5 or 6 calls, which is untrue), he basically told me he wouldn't work on it because I was annoying or aggravating him, and it was out front and to get it towed out of there. This is not the first time he has been nasty to me, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. We were told by a woman that answered the phone, that if we towed our car there, that it would be looked at THAT morning. No calls from the mechanic as to what was going on for 24 hours. We are without a car. Nasty, Nasty people. Stay away. I paid $85 for diagnostic codes, and another tow bill to take it to a different garage. I will never return. Too bad Mr. Batts couldn't be nicer, after all he is running a business. I went there against my better judgement. Should have listened to myself.Here's the timeframe:4/7 Told us at 10am to get car towed there and it will be looked at that morning, Car towed to garage and there by 11:30AM. I called at 3:30pm to be sure I could speak to someone about the car before they closed. I was told car was not looked at yet, but would be by the time they closed. I called at 5:30 to get someone before they left for the day. I was told car was not looked at but would be first thing in the morning.4/8 No calls. Called at 11:15am to see if anything was found out about the car, and owner proceeded to call me aggravating, annoying, saying I called 5 or 6 times, and that he would call me when he found out. He was busy and "doesn't sit around on a stool all day waiting for people" to bring him cars to fix. He told me car was out front and I could get it towed elsewhere. I told him I would call him back about it, but that I would have to call him back one more time. At that point he told me I could come get it, he wouldn't work on it, get it towed out.EXTREMELY condescending, EXTREMELY nasty, nasty man.And I didn't even tell you about the stuff that happened 2 years ago.

Took my car here on someone's advice, only to have to take it somewhere else a month later because they hadn't touched it yet. Never called, wouldn't talk to me, very unprofessional! When I took it to the other shop, I noticed everything was out of the glove compartment strewn over the passenger seat. Why?! then realized the Title wasn't there anymore, PLUS my Armor All and Tire Shine was gone! WTF? REALLY? I would be embarrassed to be associated with this so called business, don't take anything here, or take inventory first!
