"Not taking new patients" is what they told me when I called about my cat who hurt his head. Dr Discafani came recommended to me by a friend that he was a very nice & kind vet, but apparantly he has no room to treat injured animals. What kind of an "Animal Hospital" are they if they won't treat you unless you're already on their list of patients? Can they even legally be called a hospital if they don't accept anyone but who they already know?

How about taking new patients? Or at least referring me to a place that could help me? Terrible.

I am so glad I found Dr. Discafani. Being new to the area we have tried other vets but none compares to Dr. D. He takes his time with every patient. He listens carefully and is very easy to talk to. He takes the time out to explain everything. Dr. Discafani is extremely knowledgeable and is excellent at what he does. His prices are very reasonable. He really cares about animals he is taking care of. His walls are covered in photos and thank yous from patients and grateful customers.

The best veterinarian. Period. Saved my dog's life when an emergency clinic misdiagnosed her over the weekend. He is far from where I live now, but spent hours on the phone with me (no charge) to help me with a problem with my current dog that my current vet messed up. He is caring and brilliant. If you love your pet and want the best care, take them to Dr. D. Wished I lived closer to bring my new rescue to him. I live in north Jersey and with all the vets there are to choose from, I still can't anyone even half as good as Dr. D.

I have never heard anything but the best news on Dr. Discafani. HE has treated my pets for over ten years. Of course anyone successful and intelligent will have limited capacity. Obviously Firebird (the poor rating) does not understand that a good Doctor will not take new patients if he cannot take the time to treat them appropriately.

Dr Discavani is the most wonderful vet! He cared for our dog Sammy and when the time came to put Sammy down he acted as though Sammy was his own. He now cares for our two cats and dog and he is a genuine caring person and reasonably priced.
