Browns Grocery is a down home grocery and hardware store with friendly people. If you can't find it anywhere else you can probably find it here. Many unique and unseen items.

I called the store looking for heating tape, every store in the region was completely out (I called them all) however browns said they had2 Rolls left. I ask the man if he could hold them until I got there. He guaranteed they would be there. The weather was horrid Jan25th. I called him back said I was gonna wait until the roads cleared a little then I'd be on my way. He assured me they would be there. I called when I left my house (this is the third time I called)I drove from bristol toHampton in snow covered roads 1 lane hwy all the way to Hampton. My highest speed was 40mph. & yes you guessed it. The tape was sold before i got there. I understand if a store can not hold an item, but for god sake i called before i left. He should have told me then it took me 1hr to drive a 20 mi. Drive the tape was for a grandmother raising 3 of her grandchildren, & their water was frozen & it still is. No hot bath for them tonight, oh & microwave dinner. Thanks browns 1st & last I time i deal w/ y'all its all about the almighty doIlar guess
