This review is NOT about penny's the store but the photo studio. I love the store and would go back again and again. WELL DONE!

I'm NOT suprised at all that they are renting the space and are really not part of JCPenny at all.



Offal photography and Unprofessional!



First the place was in utter chaos when we arrived. It did not seem like there was anyone in charge. This one lady that had black short hair and glasses was the photographer and “seemed” like she was trying to keep the store together, although I was less then impressed.

As we waited for what seemed like an eternity, I looked around the store and took note that it was filthy. The shelves did not look they had been cleaned in months. YUCK!

Not a very good first impression at all.

Now we went on to getting our pictures taken. The lady was nice enough but a bit short due to the lack of order in the store. I just kept thinking where in gods name is the manger. The manger should be doing something about this mess so that we can get our pictures taken in peace.

The “photographer” keep having to step away to help the other girl in the store do things I’m guessing she was new? However it does not take a rocket science test to answer the phone. I just could not figure out why our session had to be interrupted for a phone calls and nonsense.

After many interruptions we were shuffled back out to the filthy store. I would not dare put my child down to play with anything there in fear he might end up with some nasty flue bug. I just could not get over that they would keep baby teething keys for all kids to put in there mouths and by the look of the store I doubt they were ever washed. Again YUCK!

After a long wait we were moved over to a computer screen to see our photos. The “other girl” tried nicely to help us with our photos. As she was showing my husband and I the different things she could do with our pictures the photographer came up and scolded her right in front of us. I was SHOCKED! How embarrassing, unprofessional and just plan out RUDE! I felt so bad for that girl.

I was going to spend a ton of money on our photos though only a handful came out, but after that I spent as little as possible, just to get out of there.

I’m applauded at the lack or cleanliness, order and management in this place. Maybe if there was a manger there and the store was not left to a “photographer” we might have had a better experience. I know for a fact out photos would have been better.

Think again before making an apt to get your family photos done at this place.
