Roughouse Boxing Club of Hampton
2615 Kecoughtan Rd, Hampton, VA 23661
The high road is the harder road to travel, which is less frequented by my most people, but is the only way a real boxer really knows how to reach his/her destination. Through trial and error a person finds out what is good and what is not and what is for them and what is not. Pugilism (boxing), having been born in England in the 1800's, derived from fencing and has grown a lot going into its third century. Roughouse Boxing's goal is to help boxing continue on this growth pattern and to one day have out of Roughouse Boxing Club one and more champions in the amateur as well as professional arena.
Roughouse Boxing head trainer, Robert F Jackson, Jr., is a seasoned boxer, having had well over 100 amateur bouts and 27 professional fights. Robert Jr., started boxing at the ripe age of 7 and with over 3 decades of mental and physical growth Coach Jackson (regardless of having a life changing accident in 2004) is totally ready and prepared to take young men and women to the top of the boxing game; while helping them overcome fears and self-doubt to help them reach their fullest potential. Our coaches care about your kids. They care that your child learn the rewards of practice, discipline, patience, respect, and that he/she not only learn how to box safely, but that he/she carries this training over into all aspects of his/her life. Please read our Youth Program Guidelines so you can be part of the program too.
Our Youth Program Has Four Levels:
* Level I - Beginning Boxer
* Level II - Fitness Boxer
* Level III - Recreational Boxer
