Kings County Health Department is responsible for the promotion of the physical, mental, social and environmental health of the residents of Kings County in California. The department has a public health laboratory that provides a range of diagnostic microbiological and immunological examinations in the control of infectious and communicable diseases. Kings County Health Department s lab offers testing for tuberculosis, valley fever, syphilis, Chlamydia and rabies, as well as testing drinking water for coliform bacteria and blood lead testing.
