The Codorus State Park covers an area of more than 3,450 acre in the hills of southern York County, Pa. The park serves as a venue for organizing recreational activities that include hiking, trail biking, horseback riding, picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, boating, mooring, fishing and hunting. Additionally, it is a place for wildlife watching, cross-country skiing, ice boating and camping. It also serves as a venue for conducting various winter activities, including ice fishing and skating, sledding and snowmobiling. The Codorus State Park is additionally used for conducting and organizing ecological and historical walk-and-talk programs, audiovisual presentations, campfires, environmental education-related school activities and youth programs.
