We had work done Spring of 2016 which included a patio extension in our back yard. I informed the company that there were no sprinkler heads in the area but I could not verify where the pipes might be. They informed us they would check while preparing the site and move any lines that need to be moved. I understood and agreed that this would be at additional expense. We were never notified of any pipes that needed to be moved. My sprinklers run early in the morning and I work early in the morning so I rarely see them on and operating. This Spring when I turned my sprinklers back on I noticed water coming up from underneath the concrete of the patio extension. I tried to get Central Texas Lawn Care to come out several times but they wouldn't even come out and look at the issue. They would only give me the point of contact information for another irrigation contractor and told me "this is your problem, not ours." They continued to claim I told them false information and refused to help make it right. I would never do business with this company again and I will be informing my neighborhood and Soldiers to look elsewhere.

Larry is the worst contractor I've ever dealt with , He talks a good fast sales pitch to get your business then his attitude changes, he portrays his worker as being highly qualified professional, but in reality they are very incompetent with certain task. Larry should be ashamed to call himself a businessman, I always had to contact him for updates on the project, He get rude and unprofessional after he receives the first payment of 50% and if you disagree with him, We had several project scheduled with him , but after the disaster with the patio extension we decided to look elsewhere, The patio extension was a total nightmare it was not leveled with a plane just eyed, when completed it sloped towards our foundation causing water to flood our back door, when we called Larry out he acted like he did not see the patio was wrong he sent the same guy out to do patch work on newly laid concrete which cracked several days later, it was so jacked up it had to be removed. I just want everyone to know be aware of this Company.

I called this company for a simple estimate, to remove some shrubs and install a border around the area. the wanted $1185.00 Were talking two areas 4x 6. He wanted $100.00 just to lay 1x12 feet of sod. Closest estimate to him was $750. This guy got really belligerent when I told him he was too high, and then he started talking bragging how lone he was in business, and that the other landscaper company's will do it for less because they don't know what they are doing. Anyway, avoid these people, not only was the estimate almost double of most other estimates, he is rude, and thinks he knows it all.

The owner is a mean spirited, egotist and charges far too much from hard working folks; not honest nor is he genuine. I was harassed and insulted as I paid far too much for the little bit of work that was done; thousands, to be exact. He crossed the line, was insulting, and threatened me, for a very small remaining balance on a very big bill. I was not happy with the work nor with his attitude. I would NOT recommend this company for anyone. It should be shut down. Awful people, a RIP OFF.

We hired this company to build us a sunroom as they advertised on their flyer they build. This was a holy nightmare from the start. Larry was quick to take a very large down payment before starting the work which he agreed to do; dates were given for completion and none were met, We begin to have a hard time reaching him, and he would not return our calls. He delayed the work by months and used different people to do the work. When we had ceramic tile laid, a tile man told us it was the worst he had ever seen. Larry did not want to correct it, nor the mess-up in the ceiling. He put used lumber on the outside and refused to give me the insider shutters which were in the contract. He promised landscaping and mowing for 1 year, but instead walked off the job on day's notice before the project was completed. We had to have the ceramic tile hammered up and replaced with a new floor. The outside had to be completed redone and the ceiling fixed. In essence, the entire project had to be redone. He built us an entertainment center, but it was not professional done either. He did mow our yard a few times before he left the construction site, but that was done bad. We live in a nice neighborhood, and the word is out about Larry's work and his company. No one should ever make a contract with this company. Also, the windows which were placed in our sunroom, the company he bought the windows from, he never paid for them. therefore; we have no warranty coverage on these windows. Tell your friends so they don't get ripped off like we did. We gave this company $$$$$$$ for nothing,

I'm on the road quite a bit. I hired this company to maintain my lawn for a 3 month period to see if the work was worth the $$. It was definitely worth what I spent. I put my home on the market and with a few tips from Larry had a contract in less than 30 days. Now the home is sold and not only is Central Texas taking care of my new home but they still maintain my old home for the new owners. Very personable, professional, dependable and always a fair price on a great job.

I would not recommend this company for anything. I paid to have brick columns added to my fence in June with the understanding that it would be done before my wife returned from deployment in July. Now, it is November and the work is still not complete. Caps are not on the columns (only loose bricks stacked on top) ... and pallets of bricks left on my yard killing my grass. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce. This company will not return my phone calls and I can never catch them in their office. The most unprofessional and incompetent group I've encountered. Stay away and warn your friends.

I paid close to $3000.00 dollars to these ripoffs to maintain my lawn and landscaping while I was in Iraq. Got home in June of this year only to find that my yard and landscaping looked horrible. Hedges not cut as stated in the contract, leaves not raked as in the contract, no photo's as promised in the contract and just terrible terrible service. Shame on me the first time but, they wont get a second chance to screw me. I've already been ripped off but, If I can keep someone else from getting the same service that I recieved I don't mind posting this. I have photo's as to what my lawn looked like when I got home in June....

I have used this company for several different things. They have installed a drainage system around my house a few years ago. That work was great. So, I had them come back this year and remove an inground pool. You can't even tell there was ever a pool in my backyard.Now I am having them do some landscaping on my front yard. Can't wait to see that completed. They are a great company, and I have had no issues with them getting something done. And if I have had any issues (only minor ones), they have always fixed it with no questions asked. Larry is very fair in his pricing, and has always taken care of me as a customer. I would highly recommend this company, and will use them again when I need something done. Plan to have a deck and hot tub installed and will call them to do the work.

These guys are awesome! Came to my house, gave me the estimate right then with everything priced clearly, and brought photo's of other stuff they have done! Everything was done on time and was exactly what I wanted.

i must say, ive had better results out of watching dirt grow! this company is not even close to being a reputible landscape company in my eyes. horrible expierence all the way around. never again!!!

If your landscaping job involves working around , over, under, or through an irrigation system, don't use this company. When it come to this type of work, they don't have a clue as to how it should be done. Befor the work was started, I paid extra money to have my sprinkler system returned to the way it originally was, but when the job was finished, it wasn't that way. I have some sprinkler heads missing, and one head is in a different zone than it was previously. I used to have 100% coverage of my lawn with my system. I now have areas that are not irrigated when I turn my system on. They've sent people back to my property twice to work on the problem, but it still isn't right. I've given up on them.

I wanted to write a review due the outstanding service I received. I can't tell you how frustrating it has been trying to find a decent landscaping company in the area - I called over a dozen and received one call back. The estimates I received were lousy.Central Texas helped me immediately. They were responsive, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I received exactly what I was looking for and it was worth every penny. The price was extremely reasonable from the other 3 quotes I got (which was like pulling teeth with the other companies). A company that is family owned, takes pride in their work, and delivers what they say they are going to do. Highly recommend for any and all landscaping jobs.

If you ever want a Deck built and built right, you need to call these guys! LW put quality time and work into building our deck and the results are incredible! We are very pleased with it. It was completed today 9/24/2010! We have already had a neighbor stop by our house and asked about it. All we can do is tell them to call Central Texas Lawn Care and Landscaping! Family owned business that does not take short cuts!

This company is the one to go with if you are doing any type of landscaping or basically anything you want to have done to your home or place of business. They are a family owned company that takes pride in their work. The young man that came out for an estimate was very prompt and listened to everything I wanted to do and explained how it would be done. Also he explained why I did not need to do some of the tasks I would like to have done. They showed me pictures and samples that made me very comfortable about what we had discussed. I had several other companies that never showed up or did show up and didnt have a clue on how to take care of a customer like myself. So I had to go with a company that made me feel comfortable like Central Texas Lawn Care and Landscaping.
