Harlingen High School South provides classes to students from grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, which include English, mathematics, social studies, science, and health and physical education. It also offers courses in visual and performing arts and foreign language courses in Spanish, German and French. In addition, it also offers Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps programs. It has a wide range of sports activities, which include swimming, football, soccer, golf, tennis, volleyball and cheerleading.
