The Little Red Schoolhouse was founded in August of 2003 by the late, Imelda Robledo. Mrs. Imelda was a teacher for the greater part of her life as she taught for over 20 years at many school districts within the Rio Grande Valley. Her passion to understand and influence the young minds of her students transformed into a responsibility. She was in love with the art of teaching as she understood the importance of childhood education.
