My dad was a patient at Retama Manor Harlingen and I can only say the best about this place and the staff. My dad has always had a negative opinion about nursing homes but after his experience at Retama I can say he no longer thinks that way. The staff was so friendly and made him feel comfortable about being there. Everybody was so friendly and accommodating. He was so happy with all the care he received from start to finish. His admission process went smoothly as well as his discharge. Many thanks to all the staff- everyone involved in his recovery. Thank you rehab for your expertise in treating my dad and to the nurses for your tender loving care. On behalf of my mother , my father and my entire family we would like to thank everyone for treating us like we are family.

I am from out of town and was not sure of what to expect. My mother had a fall while on her winter retreat so I had to fly down to find a place she could get rehab. There were several options but after going to each facility, the Retama Manor was way ahead of the other facilities. I want to thank the administrator and director of nurses for all of the assistance provided. Mom is back home and doing great.
