The Baptist Convention of Pennsylvania-South Jersey, located in Harrisburg, Pa., has been in existence since 1970. The geographical area of the convention reaches from Cape May, New Jersey to Erie, Pennsylvania and from Trenton, New Jersey to the Pittsburgh area. More than 14 million people live within the churches' territory. Every week the gospel is preached in 16 languages. The Church Strengthening Division assists and supports churches through the combined initiatives of workshops, conferences, seminars and individual consultations in areas such as worship and music, discipleship and Bible teaching, leadership development, Sunday School evangelism and affinity group ministry.
