I went here once for lunch - very good. The menu, atmosphere and staff seem genuine and authentic. Good price, good food. Not fancy, but a great experience if you're looking for the real thing.

My first visit to this business was interesting. Small and busy and smelling incredible were the first thoughts that crossed my mind when I walked in.



We sat for too long before finally hailing the waitress for menus. My friend had eaten here before and already had something in mind. I ordered the same - shrimp/noodle soup and eggrolls and a drink.



The drink never arrived the way I asked but before long the food was placed on our table (about $7.25).



It was DELICIOUS. Definitely one of the best soups I have ever eaten. The noodles and shrimp were great and I added some sprouts and hot sauce for good measure.



My mouth is watering right now just thinking of that meal.



Mmmmm Mmmm.



However, the service was terrible. Our dirty dishes piled up and my empty water glass sat at the end of my table for my entire meal. Nobody inquired how things were. I finally intercepted the waitress and asked for a bottle of iced tea from the cooler. I didnt mention the empty water sitting at the precipice of our space - just wondering if she would act on its emptiness. She didn't. She didn't fail to quickly add the bottle of tea to the bill though.



I would most certainly return here for the food but I wouldn't expect anything in the way of service. I am usually a good tipper but my tip for this lunch was next to nothing.

Food is consistently good! Excellant value for price.Service is good. Surroundings are clean. Parking is fair. My only complaint is that on many occasions, I have found the restaurant temperature very cold and uncomfortable. Dress warm!!
