Sold me 4 tires then came back and said they didn't have them. They wouldn't give me my money back, so I had to get tires that were not what I wanted. Two weeks later, 3 of the 4 tires are losing air like crazy.

This place is a rip off. I went there for a used tire, they said they didn't have any used tires only new ones for my truck, they recommend I needed windshield wipers because they were worn out. They said they would put them on for 30 dollars. So I agreed. A week later it rained and my wipers weren't working correctly. I checked my wipers and they weren't changed. I called them and they said bring it in we will replaced them. I told them I was working out of town and it would be about a month before I got back. So when I get back in town I go back to get my wipers replaced that I already paid for and they said the guy who was suppose to replace them was fired and they spoke with Howard and he said he wouldn't honor it. So they didn't perform the job they had me pay for then when I come back they said they wouldn't honor it. After I already spent about 2000 there in the past 2 years. So much for customer service. I will never return here and I would never recommend anyone there.

NEVER...NEVER....NEVER buy tires from this place. Bought 4 new tires and had them installed...5 days later one started to leak air from around the rim. Had to drive on tire until safe to pull off. Took tire back and was promptly told that the sidewall was broke due to driving on it with low pressure. DUH! They did look at it and said the tire was leaking because the rim needed "reconditioned" something they failed to mention when they originally installed the tires. They refused to honor any warranty and the owner Howard Henry was extremely rude.

While they offer the area's lowest price State Inspection prices, watch out for bait and switch techniques. Howard's mechanic failed my wiper blades saying they were streaking. I asked them to show me where the streaking was and he got angry and extremely rude. Finally when he did show me the wipers, they were not streaking. Moreover, my car did need 2 tires for state inspection. Seems right after I questioned his motive for failing the wipers, the right front wheel cover was broken in 2 places. I pointed this out to Howard while the vehicle was still on his lot, before paying the bill, and he said it was already broken when it came in. If that was the case, it was not noted on any of the paperwork they had and never did Howard tell me in the numerous conversations we had from start to finish. Stay FAR AWAY from HOWARDS, Despite the good reviews, HOWARDS must now be Avoided. In fairness, the tires he did install on my vehicle are quite satisfactory.

Went to Howard's for two tires and for minor engine work. The employees I spoke with were very helpful and friendly. I know where I will be going for any further repairs.

This place os a hit or miss i was the 3rd person here when the opened at 8am and got 3 tires plus inspectin they told me an hour and a half wait i ended up waiting for 3 n a half hours watching people that showed up hours after me getting taken care of and finished before me this place really has pi**ed me off now they will get no tip for this terrible customer service

I just had 4 used tires put on. Howard was fairly priced, however they don't know how to balance tires. I had a violent shake in my truck after I left. I took the truck to another shop to check it out. All 4 tires were out of balance. It's like they just threw the weights on randomly...

I have myself taken my car to Howard for over 15 years when it really was just tires. They sure have come along way from those small beginnings, but the good, honest, reliable service is still going strong!!! I work w/ over 80 women & I have recommended several to Howard's after they had some hellish experiences other places and all I ever hear are great things! All my co-workers boost about how knowledgeable, respectful & informative the staff are & how it has a family environment w/ fast reliable service. I myself have taken not only my car but my mothers & a few others & the service is truly top notch!

Wow such great service! I have a newer Hyundai and when the dealer told me I needed a tire, I called Howard Tire and not only did they have my odd size in stock but at half the price that the dealer had quoted me! I was able to drive in over lunch and it was done so fast I didn't even need to take extra time off! All of the guys were proffessional, clean and courteous. Paul and Adam behind the counter were so helpful in answering all of my silly questions. I would highly recommend!

We got our son a gift certificate to Howard's for Christmas. My husband planned on dropping the car off and returning later to pick it up. But when he got there he found out they could take him right away, no appointment was needed. He was in and out with four new tires in an hour. The staff was helpful and friendly. We will be back!

I’ve evolved, from first using Howards almost ten years ago to replace Hankook tires (they went out of their way to honor warrantee etc.) and other free repair of flats, to them being my primary mechanic and inspection station now. I've had a lot of work done there on several vehicles. They are always prompt, reliable and honest. Not enough stars to rate them with. This is a serious review, I've recommended them to all my friends.

DON'T GO THERE. You get what you pay for! 5 days after they put a tire on, it went flat. It was discovered they put the tire on backwards (tire said mount this side in) and they installed it the other way. It wasn't seal properly, they stripped a lug nut and didn't put the cap tightly on another so it came off. Total inconvenience and not worth the money. I could have paid a little more just to get new tires. AND the tires they gave me weren't the same brand and they did a bait and switch before I got there. Will NEVER go again. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Go to certified and or licensed mechanics!

I had 4 new tires put on my Passat at Howard Tire last year for LESS than what I had paid 3 years before. They are professionals and fair and provide great tires in a timely manner. My daughter is taking her car there tomorrow for 4 new tires as well. You cannot bet this company...........they do RIGHT!! It is refreshing to be able to TRUST a business these days.

Expert service, great mechanics & fast! I would say that Howard has an Central PA industry first with a "Drive Thru" tire installation.

Everyone that works there is considerate & takes great care of your vehicle.
