Provided by YP.comSo close and yet so far. Clearly there has been a lot of effort ot renovate the place. Some of the areas are not getting much care. Pool restroom was just plain nasty with no paper towels, and no hand dryer. It was trashed at 8:30 am before the pool opened. Exterior doors which are supposed to open with the room key do not; you have to come in through the lobby; ALWAYS. Staff is rude. Room keys expired after 2nd night. On third night of stay I show up to my room at midnight and cannot get in. Both keys don't work. 2 family members had same problem. They were told that that is the hotels standard practice to make people come back after 48 hours to have their keys re programmed. After being educated by my siblings about this practice being wrong, the staff told me it was my fault and that I must have had both keys by a magnet or cell phone or something. It wouldn't have been as much of an issue, no one was at the desk. My family was waiting in a hot hallway for 20 minutes while I waited at the front desk for the 2 night staff who were wandering together throuohout the hotel on some sort of mission, to return and reprogram our keys. Unacceptable. I expected more from the Ramada Inn. My bad. Now we know better.
