On 9/25/2011 our family reserved a room at the Red Roof Inn and were directed to another room after complaining of the first room smelling of cigarette smoke (non smokers). Upon entering the next room, we found the bed was seriously infested with bed bugs getting bites and observing a brownish-red insect feeding on our bodies. The response provided by staff of the Red Roof Inn was first to deny the infestation then to state they would ask us to leave if we continued to complain after asking for another room that wasn't infested. It's too bad the health department doesn't inspect hotels the same way they inspect restaurants and close its doors until sterilized. Room 108 of the Red Roof Inn is inhabitable and potentially the entire building is from the infestation.
