Incorporated in October of 1999, Capital Area Behavioral Health Collaborative performs charitable works. Based in Harrisburg, Pa., the organization serves the counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and Perry. It provides access to and delivery of a number of coordinated/managed, comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services. In addition to organizing mental health, drug and alcohol programs, the collaborative organizes a Substance Abuse Supportive Housing Program that provides scholarships to individuals who require financial assistance to enter a Recovery House to recover from substance abuse.
