I asck for free estimate twais never nobody call me back,bad experience

Alex quickly responded to a request for an estimate, and provided a quote in short order. He was at the job site with his crew the entire time and completed the job as stated. Looks great! Thanks Califan!

Our family moved to Sioux Falls, SD and we were looking for a new house to buy. Our builder started to work on our house and we needed everything to finish as soon as possible, because we did not have a good place to stay. Califan painting helped us a lot! Their crew is experienced and did a quality job inside and outside our house. We loved the colors they chose as well. We are very satisfied with their work! I always recommend their service to my friends, coworkers or anyone. They helped us feel like more at home and right in time for Christmas. For the past 12 years we have rehired them twice with a very reasonable price and they did an outstanding job. Thank you Califan Paining, you did a good job.

Horrible Service To much inexperienced workers House was done horrible and one of the workers where caught pissing in my bushes.

This is one of the best companies. We have had them do our interior and exterior painting at different times. We have hired them twice and if we need to again, we will definitely hire them again. Amazing work.

Had positive experience a few years after Califan started their business. Many years later and the results could not be more opposite. House did not get even paint coverage, paid for two coats and the first was splashed on with a finish coat, brass water spigots and turn handles were painted in error, 2 of 5 clear exterior electrical boxes painted in error, downspouts were not reinstalled accurately, stainless steel fireplace vent painted in error, no sign of Alex (owner) on job site and upon lodging a complaint Alex then proceeded to make his customer feel guilty for his own crews' poor workmanship. I withheld 25% of payment until Califan remedied a couple of the problems which took over two months to rectify. Please do your homework and check references. Califan has grown tremendously in the past several years, but speaking solely from my experience, quality appears to have suffered along the way. It is worth the extra money to have the job done right. I will no longer be a customer of Califan and do not recommend their service to others.

7017 W Strabane Trail, SF, SD - our house and garage doors painted by Califan 5/7/8...within weeks the garage doors bubbled, cracked and peeled...spot fixed July 2008 - happened again to the garage doors in August - spot fixed again. By December 2008 the garage doors bubbled, cracked and start peeling - was told by Alex to call in the Spring - 4/10/9 Alex with Califan said the garage doors were a mess but he was not fixing them - hung up on and will not return calls. This is going to Small Claims Court. Doesn't deserve one star - the paint job was a problem from the very beginning.
