My wife and I live in Harrison and eat out often however we've never eaten at El Mexico Lindo. We ate there for the first time yesterday. We were seated immediately and brought our drinks. We tried 2 of the 3 specials offered. My wife had carnitas tacos and I had the Ranchero special with shrimp. The food was excellent (delicious) and that is certainly enough to have us return again. Now the opportunities: The waitress that we had was friendly enough but she had an obsession with her smartphone! A waiter had to tell her when we were ready to order. I had to shout to her that I needed a refill on my drink, and when we asked the young man waiting tables to go tell our waitress that we needed our check (after a 10 minute wait after finishing dessert) he said that he would run our check for us. I commented to my wife after we left that I would be willing to wager that our waitress was perhaps the owner's daughter; I don't think that a customer oriented, service dedicated manager or owner should find these practices acceptable. ATTENTION ALL WAITSTAFF!!! CHECK YOUR PHONES AT THE DOOR!
