Well Tim Johnson came and relocated an outside evaporator 2 plus weeks ago at the cost of $545 dollars and at that time he claimed to discover a reversing valve that was not operating correctly. While I was sitting hear him he called Trane MFG. of the 3 year old A/C unit and ordered a replacement valve. At that he said when it arrived all I had to pay was labor for the replacement. Today he arrived and claimed to replace the valve and at that I asked the fee and shortly he informed me $212. dollars and then I asked why he stopped being a doctor because doctors don't get 80 dollars an hour for labor he responded "You have no idea what the market out there is charging" I responded I worked as an licensed electrician for near 40 years, after schooling, apprentice program and would never dream or would have charged anyone such an outrageous labor cost. I said I was a Christian and know I would never do what he did and that he would never return to my home or work for me again. I paid him 2-100 dollar bills and a 20 dollar bill and told him to keep it and just leave. We left shortly after he departed and returned from medical appointments this evening and the outside unit constantly cycled on and off for over 40 minutes before I turned off the main breaker. I called Tim Johnson business number and got an answering machine and I left a message telling him he has been paid to do a repair, which he needed to return to do what he charged me to do and do it correctly.
