If I could only eat at one place for the rest of my life, this is the place. The food is all good. Making a decision is tough. I could live on the biscuits and gravy. Browsing the gift shop is fun. They have a lot of interesting things you won't find anywhere else.

Yes, it's a chain, but if you like southern comfort food, you are at the right place. Every day has a special, but my favorite is the Sunday chicken. Two large boneless chicken breasts, crispy and delicious. I always eat one and take the other home for another meal. Along with two sides and biscuits or cornbread for under $10.00, it's just like grandma used to make.In addition, there's an extensive gift shop which is fun to browse before or after dinner.

The wait staff here is always super friendly and great with my kids when we bring the whole crew. Classic food is always a hit, and cornbread is great.

Good place to go to eat on a cold winter evening. Sit near the fireplace if possible.
