A local favorite...Beyond in Harrisonburg Virginia! I'd highly recommend this restuarant because it's PRICED RIGHT, ambiance is casual, yet swank, food is delicious and portioned well. I had Sushi Sashimi Combo and Godzilla Maki sushi roll for appetizers. Then an Entree of Sesame Crusted Tuna & a surprise special dessert that was so good I cant even discuss it. If you want to eat lighter and spend lighter, two could easily split what I ordered. At any rate, certainly my Top 1 in the Harrisonburg area! - Mark M.

The grilled romaine with caesar dressing was incredible. The rack of lamb was perfection itself. I'm hoping for improvements in the desserts. The staff are so open and enthusiastic that I know it will only get better.

It's still new, and hopefully will iron out some of the (cooking) kinks. After two visits - some dishes are definitely a plus, and will merit a return order. Others just didn't meet the menu description or (for the price) expectations. E.g., the small plate lamb ribs were described as medium-rare - and for best taste, should have been. Yet, with a fine herbed crust, they were welldone, or beyond. The tuna tartare tasted of nothing but avocado and soy sauce (if it was tuna, I sure couldn't tell). The beef kebabs weren't worth a re-try. The meat was tough, and the vegs were blah. Salads were fine. Soups were OK. Curry was a winner. I'll withhold judgment on the sushi. Only had one, and will try others - Jako here does sushi much better. Harrisonburg needs this bold new approach. Of course - we'll try some more, and hope for the best.

FINALLY!!!! A contemporary and hip restaurant with GREAT FOOD and a great atmosphere. The food was FANTASTIC - we had several of their small plates (tapas) so we could try several items on the menu - everything was delicious. The service was a little slow but they had only been open for 2 days. Check it out!!!!!
