We are a home-based preschool and day care center offering experienced child care for children ages one to five. Our in-home daycare is operated by two fantastic women, who together have a combined fifteen years of experience caring for children. Callie is a graduate with a concentration in early childhood development and is caring, soft spoken and loves to read and exercise minds and bodies! Erica is a loving mother of three great children and volunteers her spare time as an EMT and Firefighter at the local fire department and rescue squad. Erica and Callie have extensive experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Epilepsy, and ADHD and are dedicated to shaping your child's day into a fun and educational experience! 

The preschool and day care center is located in Harrisonburg, VA right off of Interstate 81 and just blocks from JMU, James Madison University. We are in the subdivision known as Ashby Heights and although the house is in the city, it feels worlds away. It is nestled high up on the hillside and surrounded by beautiful trees and landscaping. The home is located on a dead-end street and is well sheltered from any dangerous roadways. Due to our location, we can provide daycare for families in Harrisonburg, Dayton, Bridgewater, Penn Laird, Grottoes, Weyers Cave, Mount Crawford and Mcgayhesville, VA. These locations are within 15 minutes of our day care center and are easy access.  

Tots 'N Toyland offers affordable child care for children with all levels of abilities including children who need help with potty training and other basic daily needs. We do not charge different rates for children with more involved needs to allow for a simple and fair rate schedule. We have a very reasonable pricing plan and our low rates for child care allow you as parents to focus on what's most important- providing for and taking care of your family. 

Safe child care is absolutely paramount here at Tots 'N Toyland. We have many policies in place to ensure a safe environment and we pride ourselves for being germ-fighters!

Nutrition is also a big focus for us here at Tots 'N Toyland. We serve only organic and natural foods here for our meals provided plan. All food is carefully selected to ensure it is free of all artificial ingredients and harmful additives. Our meal plan is built every 5 weeks and is full of variety. Please inquire with questions.
