Virginia Poultry Federation is a nonprofit, statewide trade association founded in 1925. VPF represents all sectors of the poultry industry, from farmers, to processors, to businesses that provide goods and services to the poultry industry. VPF's mission is to promote a positive business climate for the poultry and egg industry in Virginia through effective government and public relations, youth programs, membership services, and educational activities. A Board of Directors oversees VPF. The board consists of two broiler growers, two turkey growers, an egg producer, five processor representatives, an allied industry representative, and an ex officio ( non voting ) member from Virginia Tech. VPF's staff includes a President. VPF has a number of standing committees, which address issues such as poultry health and environmental stewardship. copyright 2007 Virginia Poultry Federation | e-mail | Web Design by Loafin' Tree LLC | e-mail_webmaster
