The apartments themselves are gorgeous, but the area is horrible. I moved in under the understanding that it was the "safest" zip code/area in Hartford. What a lie. There are around 4 homeless shelters within a block/2 blocks from the apartment complex. I was mugged twice going to and from my car to get into the building, the security guy takes off around 9pm and doesnt come back. It is very unsafe. The vacant part of the building is attached to the current apartments so homeless and drug users, vandals, etc. can get access to your house. I would recommend staying away from this place it is not safe.

The management staff in the building fails to do anything and tells you "this comes with city living" when you make complaints. Also vehicles have been broken into multiple times. If you rent there after reading this review you deserve to get mugged.
