At a time when the price of everything is sky high and budgets are low , this store has some great sales, a variety of meats priced at $1.00 per pound.

However if you go ...make sure you see the meat as they are putting it in the bags and make sure you see the scales as they weigh the meat. Wouldn't want you to get a surprise like I did.

I asked for 10 lbs of spare ribs, didnt check them, just went home and put them in the freezer.When I decided to thaw them out and cook them I was shocked. Bundled up in the bag they looked good but once I started cleaning them I found that, first of all they looked like beef ribs, second ...they had so much fat on them. I figured what the heck and started cleaning away the fat. But ....that last slab was so terrible. Nothing but garbage.I was looking hard to find the meat on it.Decided I couldnt deal with that , so I called the store and was told to bring my reciept.

I mean, honestly , who keeps their grocery reciept??? Perhaps if it were the next day I would still have a reciept.



Bottom line.....a bargain ain't a bargain if you can't use it.



Great sale or not , you can be sure I'll save $$$ in the future because I won't be going back there ! !
