WSNG-AM 610, founded in 1948, is part of the Buckley Radio Station network that owns and operates more than 20 radio stations. It is one of the oldest radio stations in Litchfield County, and serves various counties, including Torrington, Winsted, Bantam, Canaan, Falls Village, Colebrook and Cornwall, Conn. It also serves Goshen, Harwinton, Kent, Morris, New Hartford, Norfolk, North Canaan, Plymouth, Salisbury, Sharon, Thomaston, Warren, Washington and Winchester counties. WSNG-AM 610 provides a blend of issues-oriented talk, news and information, as well as music and sports programs, including the New Britain rock cats and University of Hartford Hawks men's basketball. It is headquartered in Torrington, Conn.
